At Sri Santh Sadananda Yoga Asram Trust, we believe nature is sacred. Our service to the Earth is an extension of our spiritual path. Through tree planting, organic farming, water conservation, and clean-up efforts, we work to protect and restore the natural balance around us. We also educate communities about eco-friendly living, reminding everyone that caring for nature is a form of seva.
Sri Maha Vidyanandagiri Mathaji’s Love for Nature
She teaches that nature is not outside of us. It is part of us. She believes living in harmony with nature is a spiritual responsibility. Her vision is to build communities that respect the Earth, protect all forms of life, and live simply with gratitude. She often says, “To care for nature is to honour the Divine.”
Why We Care for Nature
Our work with nature is aimed at healing the Earth and encouraging people to live with greater awareness and care. We focus on protecting natural resources like water, trees, and soil, while promoting sustainable and simple living. Through our efforts, we aim to reduce pollution, raise eco-awareness, and reconnect people with nature in a spiritual and mindful way. Our ultimate goal is to restore balance both in the environment and within ourselves.
Seva Opportunities
There are many ways you can support nature through seva:
Join tree plantation or clean-up drives
Sponsor organic farming or water-saving initiatives
Donate tools, plants, or eco-materials
Help conduct awareness workshops in rural areas
Volunteer your time in Gosalas or green projects
How We Care for Nature
We care for nature through hands-on actions and mindful choices. Our teams plant trees, grow food without chemicals, reduce waste, and protect local ecosystems. We teach children and villagers about protecting the Earth and using natural resources wisely. Everything we do is done with gratitude and respect for the natural world.
What Impact We Created
Through your support, we’ve planted hundreds of trees, cleaned village surroundings, introduced composting practices, and inspired young people to care for their environment. Many communities now use less plastic, grow organic vegetables, and live more in tune with nature. The land is healing, and so are the people.
